Returns & Cancellation

Last updated: 11 June 2026. Your rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

1. Your right to cancel

For most goods bought online you have a legal right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 to cancel your order within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period ends 14 days after the day on which you (or someone you nominate) receive the goods. If your order is delivered in several parcels, it ends 14 days after the day you receive the last item.

You can also cancel at any time after placing your order and before delivery.

2. How to cancel

To cancel, email us at sebs@aec600.co.uk with a clear statement that you wish to cancel, quoting your order number. You may use the model cancellation form below, but you do not have to. To meet the deadline it is enough to send your cancellation before the 14-day period expires.

3. Returning the goods

Once you have told us you are cancelling, please return the goods to us without undue delay and in any event within 14 days. You are responsible for the cost of returning the goods unless they are faulty or misdescribed. We will confirm the return address when you cancel.

You may handle the goods as you would in a shop to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. We may reduce your refund to reflect any diminished value caused by handling beyond that.

4. Refunds

We will refund the price you paid for the goods, including any standard delivery you were charged, using the same payment method you used. The refund will be made within 14 days of the day we receive the goods back, or, if earlier, the day you provide evidence that you have sent them back. If you cancelled before dispatch, the refund will be made within 14 days of your cancellation.

5. Exceptions

The cancellation right does not apply to:

  • sealed software, audio or video recordings that you have unsealed after delivery;
  • goods made to your specification or clearly personalised.

6. Faulty or misdescribed goods

The above does not affect your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If goods are faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose, you may have a short-term right to reject them within 30 days for a full refund, or thereafter a right to a repair or replacement (and, if that fails, a price reduction or final right to reject). For faulty or misdescribed goods we will cover the cost of the return. Contact us at sebs@aec600.co.uk.
