Does Not Support Microsoft ESS (Enhanced Sign-In Security)

Microsoft Windows Hello with Enhanced Sign-In Security (ESS) provides an additional level of security to biometric data with the use of specialised hardware and software components: Virtualisation Based Security (VBS) and Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0. VeriMarkTM IT, while fully compatible with Windows Hello and Hello for Business and provides enterprise-grade multi-factor authentication, does not support ESS. Newer Windows 11 builds have ESS turned on by default. Disabling ESS will allow VeriMarkTM IT to continue to work without issues.

Match-in-SensorTM Fingerprint Technology

Combines superior biometric performance and 360° readability with anti-spoofing technology. Exceeds industry standards for false rejection rate (FRR 2%) and false acceptance rate (FAR 0.001%). Fingerprint data is isolated and secured in the sensor, so only an encrypted match is transferred.

Durable zinc alloy body with LED accepted/rejected indicator and flared tail for an easy grip.

Protected privacy

Secures the fingerprint data it collects and can be used to support a company’s cybersecurity measures consistent with (but not limited to) such privacy laws and regulations as GDPR, BIPA and CCPA.
